Soccer Recap: Sierra Linda's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Sierra Linda's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Youngker Roughriders. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Roughriders are ranked 157th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Victor Garcia and Sebastian Mendoza scored all three of Sierra Linda's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
