Paloma Valley has gone 8-2 against Poly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will host the Bears at 3:15 p.m. Paloma Valley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Paloma Valley came out on top against Valley View on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Wildcats walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Poly's offense. They fell just short of Arlington by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bears have suffered against the Lions since February 25, 2022.

Jacob DeVincenzo was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Paloma Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Poly, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Paloma Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Poly in their previous matchup on April 10th, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
