Baseball Recap: Southwest Legacy Comes Up Short

Southwest Legacy fell victim to MacArthur and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Brahmas, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Brahmas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Southwest Legacy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Macias, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Southwest Legacy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for MacArthur, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southwest Legacy is set to square off against their familiar foe Harlandale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, MacArthur will take on rival McCollum at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
