After a string of five wins, China Spring's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jarrell Cougars. If China Spring was looking for revenge after losing 56-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jarrell found their leader in sophomore Aniya Taylor, who went 8 of 15 on her way to 20 points. Taylor's afternoon made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lamyre' Fitch, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

China Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Jarrell, they pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

China Spring will welcome Connally at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Jarrell, they will venture away from home to face off against Salado at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Jarrell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.
