Recap: Pensacola Catholic Crusaders vs. Florida State University High School Seminoles
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 17-10 win over the Seminoles. The victory was familiar territory for Pensacola Catholic who now have six in a row.
Nigel Nelson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 251 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Pensacola Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Florida State University High School, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.
Pensacola Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Bradford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bradford is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Florida State University High School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
