Softball Game Preview: Moss Point Tigers vs. Bay Tigers

Moss Point hasn't had much luck against Bay recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Moss Point is taking a road trip to square off against Bay at 6:30 p.m. Moss Point has given up an average of 14.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Moss Point fell victim to Greene County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 17-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Bay posted their closest victory since March 6th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Forrest County Agricultural 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Aggies: they've now won six in a row.

Bay's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Moss Point, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

Moss Point might still be hurting after the 19-1 defeat they got from Bay when the teams last played last Tuesday. Can Moss Point avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
