Perry-Lecompton lost against Silver Lake back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kaws took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Kaws' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15.

Perry-Lecompton's offense was headlined by Macie Corcoran and Paxton Damme, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Emmy Reed and her 12 assists.

Perry-Lecompton's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Silver Lake, they pushed their record up to 32-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

Perry-Lecompton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Sedgwick on the 4th. As for Silver Lake, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Jefferson West on the 7th.
