After soaring to 71 points the game before, Pinecrest Prep was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 56-29 loss at the hands of the Belen Jesuit Wolverines. The Crocs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pinecrest Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gabriel Guzman, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Buduen, who put up seven points.

Belen Jesuit got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Diaz out in front who went 5 for 7 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Javi Vasseur, who had ten points.

Pinecrest Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Belen Jesuit, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8.

Pinecrest Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-37 loss against Westwood Christian on the 24th. As for Belen Jesuit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-48 win against Miami Christian on the 23rd.
