Basketball Recap: Center Point Takes a Loss

Center Point lost against Goldthwaite back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Center Point Pirates were beaten by the Goldthwaite Eagles 59-16. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Center Point dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Goldthwaite, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Center Point will take on Johnson City in a holiday battle at 6:15 p.m. on December 17th at. As for Goldthwaite, they will welcome Brownwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
