Waukon was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the New Hampton Chickasaws by a score of 5-1. The game was the first time the Indians have beaten the Chickasaws on their field since June 9, 2023.

Waukon's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for New Hampton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukon will head out to face off against Crestwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Hampton, they will square off against Nashua-Plainfield at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Chickasaws are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
