Baseball Recap: Konawa Takes a Loss

Konawa's last matchup with Preston could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Pirates, falling 7-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.

Konawa's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Preston, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Konawa will take on Coalgate at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Preston, they will head out to square off against Ketchum at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
