Volleyball Recap: Suncoast Comes Up Short

Suncoast was the 2-1 winner over Tournament Opponent when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tournament Opponent on Saturday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11.

Suncoast's offense was headlined by Bella Zingaro and Melissa Modan, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Hope Parker and her seven assists. Modan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Suncoast's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Suncoast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 27th. As for Tournament Opponent, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Greeneville on the 27th.
