Soccer Recap: Schuyler Triumphs

Schuyler picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Grand Island Islanders 3-2.

Schuyler hit Grand Island with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Obed Benazo, Gaspar Juarez, and David Arciga.

Schuyler has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Grand Island, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Schuyler will take on rival Crete at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grand Island is set to face off against their familiar foe Lincoln Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
