Soccer Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hampton Roads Academy). Everything went their way against the Peninsula Catholic Knights on Tuesday as they made off with a 9-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Hampton Roads Academy's offense was hitting Peninsula Catholic from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Britton Drames led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win (which was Hampton Roads Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matchups. As for Peninsula Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1.
