Soccer Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor and La Vega squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Taylor had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 6-1. Taylor haven't had much luck with La Vega recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Taylor's goal came courtesy of Avery Paulsen, who's now up to eight this season.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for La Vega, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-2 record this season.

Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for La Vega, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Almeta Crawford on the 24th.
