Basketball Recap: Brookfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brookfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 49-28 to the Joel Barlow Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered against the Falcons since January 9, 2019.

Gustavo Almeida was Brookfield's leading scorer, having posted six points. John Lopes held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Joel Barlow, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Brookfield will head out to take on Amistad at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Joel Barlow, they will be home for the holidays to greet Seymour at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
