Softball Recap: Taos Comes Up Short

If Taos was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Pojoaque Valley last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 21-5 to the Los Alamos Hilltoppers on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Taos' defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Los Alamos, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Los Alamos beat Taos by a score of 12-2 later that day.
