Soccer Recap: Lockhart Comes Up Short

After flying high against Glenn last Friday, Lockhart came back down to earth. The Lockhart Lions lost 4-0 to the Liberty Hill Panthers on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lockhart's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Liberty Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Lockhart will welcome Hays at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Glenn at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Hill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
