Volleyball Recap: Pflugerville Connally Takes a Loss

Pflugerville Connally lost against St. Stephen's Episcopal back in August of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aniya Toney paced Pflugerville Connally's offense, picking up four kills. Toney got some help from Caroline Benge and her four assists. Elise Lee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Leading St. Stephen's Episcopal to victory were Katherine Oehler and Sydney Gray. Oehler had 12 assists and three digs, while Gray had five digs. That's the most assists Oehler has posted over her last seven matches.

Pflugerville Connally's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they moved to 7-12 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
