Softball Game Preview: Tyler Legacy Raiders vs. Royse City Bulldogs

Tyler Legacy hasn't had much luck against Royse City recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raiders will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Tyler Legacy has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tyler Legacy is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 15-4 to North Forney.

Tyler Legacy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ReNaa Hicks, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Royse City unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Forney. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Royse City's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Tyler Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.

Tyler Legacy suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Royse City in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
