Basketball Recap: Oneida Takes a Loss

Oneida was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Holland Patent Golden Knights, falling 82-52. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Express this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-60 back in December of 2024.

Oneida's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Holland Patent, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Oneida will square off against Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holland Patent, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Central Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holland Patent knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Central Valley Academy likes a good challenge.
