Basketball Game Preview: Braswell Bengals vs. Guyer Wildcats

Braswell is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Guyer is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Braswell Bengals will host the Guyer Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Braswell is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Hebron: they outscored them in every quarter. Braswell blew past Hebron 60-39 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Guyer strolled past Lewisville with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 60-42. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Farmers are ranked 499th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Guyer is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Braswell, their victory bumped their record up to 22-10.
