Recap: Lorain Titans vs. GlenOak Golden Eagles
After soaring to 53 points the game before, The Lorain Titans were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 16-7 to GlenOak. While losing is never fun, Lorain can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 204th, while GlenOak is ranked 83rd).
Chase Davis threw for 56 yards on six of ten attempts. Jairo Williams was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards. On the ground, John Salaman rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Lorain's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for GlenOak, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Lorain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. GlenOak will head out on the road to face off against St. Edward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Edward will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
