Basketball Recap: Pineview Christian Comes Up Short

Pineview Christian played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 57-22 loss at the hands of Riverside Christian Academy. The Warriors were down 56-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Pineview Christian still got an impressive performance from Charli White, who posted nine points and five boards. That was a full 40.9% of Pineview Christian's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Morgan Baker, who earned five points and five rebounds.

Pineview Christian dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Riverside Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Pineview Christian will head out to challenge Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Riverside Christian Academy, they will host Rocket City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
