Baseball Game Preview: Highline Pirates vs. Cedarcrest Red Wolves

The Highline Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Cedarcrest Red Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Highline comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Highline came up short against Chief Sealth on Thursday, falling 18-2.

Highline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roman Easter, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Cedarcrest had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past Lakewood 2-1. The Red Wolves haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Braden Bottemiller was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Highline's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cedarcrest, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
