Cedar Creek's tournament run continued when they took on Cedar Ridge on Friday. Cedar Creek opened the new year with a less-than-successful 3-1 loss to Cedar Ridge.

Meanwhile, neither Clear Springs nor East View could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Clear Springs' record moves to 0-0-2. As for Cedar Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1.
