Volleyball Recap: Upson-Lee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Upson-Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Jones County Greyhounds. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Upson-Lee lost, don't look at Allie Richmond. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist. Richmond has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Upson-Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Jones County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Upson-Lee and Jones County will both be playing Ola the next time they take the court. The Greyhounds will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
