Basketball Recap: Rise Kohyang Takes a Loss

Rise Kohyang lost against Stern back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rise Kohyang Tritons took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stern Titans. The Tritons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Jr Romero, who posted 26 points and six steals for Stern. Romero's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Gabriel Reyes was another key player, putting up six points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Rise Kohyang's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Stern, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rise Kohyang will welcome Animo De La Hoya at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stern, they and The School of Los Angeles will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
