Football Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Hudson fell victim to Mitchell and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Mustangs 39-0. The loss leaves the Cobras still looking for their first win of the season.

Mitchell can attribute much of their success to Sofia Fercotta, who threw for 111 yards and three touchdowns while completing 91.7% of her passes. Briann Coure made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mitchell, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Coming up, Hudson will square off against Angeline Academy of Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Archers' defense has only allowed 8.6 points per game this season, so the Cobras' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mitchell, they have already played their next matchup, a 46-6 loss against Alonso on the 3rd.
