Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Rowan Woodrich and Jamar Johnson Lead Peach County to Victory + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Peach County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Taylor County Vikings 67-50 on Friday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 61-48 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Peach County was led to victory by Jamar Johnson and Rowan Woodrich. Johnson shot 57% from the field to rack up 22 points and seven rebounds, while Woodrich dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. Those 22 points gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Warlick, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Peach County's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Peach County has already played their next contest, a 58-49 victory against Johnson on the 29th. As for Taylor County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-47 loss against Upson-Lee on the 29th.
