Baseball Game Preview: Prattville Christian Academy Panthers vs. Saint James Trojans

For the second straight game, Prattville Christian Academy will face off against Saint James. The Panthers will welcome the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Prattville Christian Academy 2.7, Saint James 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Thursday, Prattville Christian Academy beat Saint James 6-2.

Blake Bowman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ethan Walls was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Conner Williams, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Saint James moved to 17-7-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Prattville Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 24-2.
