There's no place like home for Tara, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the North Iberville Bears with a sharp 16-1 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Enrique Avila was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Malik Hawkins, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Tara always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Iberville only posted an OBP of .231.

Tara's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12 runs. As for North Iberville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5-1.

Tara will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Iberville: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
