Monte Vista had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mercy Bears by a score of 2-0.

Monte Vista got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 31-29.

Kassidy Moore paced Monte Vista's offense, picking up seven kills. Moore got some help from Diya Mathew and her 13 assists. Kennedy Whyte controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Monte Vista now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Mercy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Monte Vista didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mercy on the 6th. As for the Bears, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mater Dei Catholic on the 6th.
