Football Game Preview: Northside Indians vs. Perrin-Whitt Pirates

The Northside Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Perrin-Whitt Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Perrin-Whitt took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Northside, who comes in off a win.

Northside will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up eight points last Friday, then bounced right back against Bryson on Friday. The Indians blew past the Cowboys 64-42. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Perrin-Whitt lost to Knox City on the road by a 44-30 margin on Friday.

Northside pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Perrin-Whitt, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Northside was taken down by Perrin-Whitt 56-6 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
