Lamar has won four straight games at home, while Hackett has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Warriors will host the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. Lamar's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Hackett's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Lamar's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Cossatot River 17-0. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.
Mylee Parker was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, Lamar let Nevaeh Danver and Avery Phillips run wild. Danver went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Phillips got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs Phillips has posted over her last eight matchups. Shayleigh Palmer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Hackett posted their closest win since April 24, 2025 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out West Fork 6-5.
Ryleigh Decker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.
At the plate, Kali Reather was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Michaelyn Freeman, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Hackett, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lamar hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. However, it's not like Hackett struggles in that department as they've averaged .338. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lamar came up short against Hackett in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, falling 6-2. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
