The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders will challenge the Fulton Steamers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ashton-Franklin Center is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Ashton-Franklin Center came up short against Bureau Valley and fell 10-7.

Brock Lehman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Meanwhile, Fulton was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They skirted past Erie-Prophetstown 6-4. The game was the first time the Steamers have beaten the Panthers on their field since April 14, 2016.

Ashton-Franklin Center's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Fulton, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13.

Ashton-Franklin Center took their victory against Fulton in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 10-4 score. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Steamers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
