            Baseball Recap: James F. Byrnes Rebels vs. Riverside Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            James F. Byrnes waltzed into their contest  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Riverside Warriors by a score of  8-5. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  5-4  victory  last Monday.

 Easton Keels looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in February.
 At the plate,  Jake Moss was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Connor Crenshaw, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
James F. Byrnes pushed their record up to 11-7 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Riverside, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 9-8.
James F. Byrnes will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
