Soccer Recap: Paradise Valley's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Paradise Valley's and Shadow Mountain's game on Monday was close at halftime, but Paradise Valley turned on the heat in the second half with three goals. The Paradise Valley Trojans were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Shadow Mountain Matadors. Considering the Trojans' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Shadow Mountain with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Franco Ceballos-Lozano, Caden Blackwell, Dusko Kostic, and Oliver Garcia.

Paradise Valley moved to 1-7 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. As for Shadow Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Paradise Valley will welcome Buckeye at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise Valley is facing Buckeye at the right time seeing as Buckeye is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Shadow Mountain, they will head out to face off against Thunderbird at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
