Softball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 20-1 to the East Union Lancers. The Fighting Zebras have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for East Union, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-12.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 13-3 loss against Argonaut on the 25th. As for East Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-1 victory against Cosumnes Oaks on the 26th.
