Archangels Catholic won the last time they faced Heartland Lutheran and things went their way on Friday too. The Archangels Catholic Defenders blew past the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets, posting a 49-20 victory. The Defenders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 29 points or more this season.

Heartland Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Abby VanBibber, who posted six points and six boards. Ema Marie Koch was another key player, putting up four points and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Archangels Catholic and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for Heartland Lutheran, they moved to 7-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
