Basketball Recap: Zion Chapel Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Zion Chapel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 34-32 win from a begrudging Rebels squad. That's more bragging rights for they, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

With the victory, Zion Chapel broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-9. As for Opp, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

When Zion Chapel and Opp next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Zion Chapel will try to stop Kinston's 13-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Similarly, Opp will take on Andalusia and their four-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
