The victory was some much needed relief for Calumet Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Kankakee Trinity Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Calumet Christian, they pushed their record up to 16-12 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Kankakee Trinity Academy against Calumet Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2021 as the squad secured a 44-17 win.
