New Mexico School for the Deaf led 6-Man District 2 (6 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on Vaughn. Julio Ruiz threw for 218 yards and six touchdowns and ran for 55 yards in the win.
The Roadrunners' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyrel Wilding helped New Mexico School for the Deaf's passing attack out by catching eight balls for 164 yards.
New Mexico School for the Deaf's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Roadrunners feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ruiz has thrown for 680 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Wilding has 27 catches for 434 yards. Immanuel Neubauer leads the league in rushing with 458 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Eagles and Reserve. Vaughn comes into the matchup ranked 18th in the state, while the Mountaineers ranks 16th.
