Recap: Ramsey Rams vs. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats
The Ramsey Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 74-48 walloping at the hands of Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ramsey in their matchups with Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City: they've now lost five in a row.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was led to victory by Kaidyn Calame and Clayton Wojcik. Calame scored 23 points, while Wojcik dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Calame continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Gage Lorton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Ramsey's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Arcola the next time they take the court. Ramsey will head out to face Arcola at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
