Basketball Recap: Norwell's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Norwell managed to slip by Oak Hill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 64-38 to the Golden Eagles on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Knights' undefeated start to the season.

Oak Hill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rj Shugart, who shot 61% from the field on his way to 24 points. Shugart is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Will Tonagel was another key player, putting up nine points along with eight assists and seven steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Norwell fell to 2-1. As for Oak Hill, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwell will face off against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Hill, they will square off against Mississinewa at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
