Football Recap: Kirbyville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Kirbyville was feeling good fresh off their 45-18 takedown of Coldspring-Oakhurst two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 50-22 loss at the hands of the Orangefield Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 49-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Kirbyville now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Orangefield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Kirbyville and Orangefield will both be playing East Chambers the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st.
