After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Providence Classical, Tabernacle was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 58-19 victory over the Valley Fellowship Christian Academy n/a. That 39 point margin sets a new team best for the Torches this season.

Tabernacle's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-10. As for Valley Fellowship Christian Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Tabernacle won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Trinity Christian Homeschool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tabernacle is facing Trinity Christian Homeschool at the right time seeing as Trinity Christian Homeschool is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Valley Fellowship Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Providence Classical at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
