Volleyball Recap: Chicago Mt. Carmel Comes Up Short

Chicago Mt. Carmel entered their game against Reavis on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Caravan took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Caravan of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17.

Chicago Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Reavis, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Looking ahead, Chicago Mt. Carmel will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reavis, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
