Basketball Recap: South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Comes Up Short

South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to the Herreid/Selby Wolverines at home by a 56-37 margin. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley]'s loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Herreid/Selby, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2.

When South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] and Herreid/Selby next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will try to stop Leola/Frederick's four-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on February 1st. Meanwhile, Herreid/Selby will face off against Timber Lake and their five-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
