Soccer Game Preview: Glenwood vs. Creston

Glenwood has gone a perfect 7-0 against Creston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams will take on the Panthers. Glenwood will be strutting in after a victory while Creston will be coming in after a defeat.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Glenwood and Lincoln meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Rams blew past the Lynx 3-0. The result was nothing new for Glenwood, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Creston lost 9-2 to Harlan on Friday.

Glenwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Creston, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14-4.

Everything went Glenwood's way against Creston in their previous meeting on May 6th, as Glenwood made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
